With an impressive showcase of talent and unity, the Supreme Students Council at JHCSC orchestrated the eagerly awaited KAGKAKALIMWA 2024 event at the College Gymnasium on February 22nd. Under the dynamic guidance of Dr. Jonno E. Tan, the Dean of Student Affairs, the event epitomized the essence of JHCSC’s spirit and community.<\/div>\n
With the theme “LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE,” the night commenced with a passionate celebration of unity and affection. Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, President of JHCSC, articulated the essence of love, remarking, “What we need is love, and love is expressed in different ways.” He emphasized that the students of JHCSC are the product of love. Following his message, he delighted the audience by serenading them with beautiful songs.<\/div>\n
The search for Mr. and Miss KAGKAKALIMWA 2024 drew enthusiastic participation from students across diverse departments, including the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), the School of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Sciences (SAFES), the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS), the School of Teacher Education (STE), and the School of Criminal Justice Education (SOCJE). Each contestant showcased their unique talents and charisma, adding to the event’s vibrancy.<\/div>\n
The top contenders emerged after intense competition and anticipation, capturing the audience’s hearts with grace and talent. The 2nd runner-up in the male and female categories were awarded to representatives from SOCJE and SAS, respectively, while the 1st runner-up hails from SET in both categories. The crowning moment has arrived as the spotlight illuminates the ultimate champions of KAGKAKALIMWA 2024. With jubilation and pride, Mr. and Miss KAGKAKALIMWA’s 2024 titles were bestowed upon deserving representatives from the School of Teacher Education (STE), symbolizing the pinnacle of talent and excellence at JHCSC.<\/div>\n
The event ended on a high note, leaving attendees with hearts filled with love and spirits uplifted by the remarkable showcase of talent and unity. KAGKAKALIMWA 2024 exemplifies the vibrant spirit and steadfast camaraderie that characterize the JHCSC community, leaving a lasting impression on all participants.<\/div>\n
