JH Cerilles State College (JHCSC) took a significant step towards enhancing its quality standards with an ISO 9001:2015 Awareness Meeting at the 3rd Floor Conference Room, Pagadian Annex, on February 16, 2024. The event commenced with an enlightening series of presentations and discussions by esteemed JHCSC administrative and academic leaders and quality assurance team members.<\/div>\n
In the opening remarks, Dr. Vilma C. Grengia, Vice President for Academic Affairs, underscored the importance of striving for excellence in all facets of the institution’s operations. Quality Assurance Officer Joie Mercybelle F. Capitanea provided insights into the role of the Quality Assurance Office in ensuring adherence to international quality standards. <\/div>\n
Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, President of JHCSC, conveyed a powerful message advocating for a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, urging attendees to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and innovation. <\/div>\n
The event featured updates on SUC leveling by Quality Assurance Director Vicpher Garnada and an in-depth ISO orientation led by Quality Management Representative Althea Nicole A. Paradiang. Following these insightful presentations, attendees actively participated in a workshop segment where they collaboratively worked towards establishing core processes specific to their respective offices and identified essential forms necessary for streamlined operations. <\/div>\n
The meeting concluded with the presentation of outputs by process owners, showcasing the tangible outcomes of the collaborative efforts undertaken during the workshop session. As JHCSC continues its journey toward accreditation under the leadership of President Rosales, events like these reinforce its commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.<\/div>\n
