\n\t\t\tVicenzo Sagun Municipal Gymnasium was alive with the vibrant energy of basketball enthusiasts as the 41st Phenawagnawag Festival Inter-Collegiate Basketball Tournament kicked off its grand opening on February 1, 2024.\n\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\tEnthusiastic basketball fans witnessed an exciting match between JHCSC Green Hornets and ZSCMST-Zamboanga City. With teams representing esteemed institutions from across the region, including JRMSU-Dipolog City, SMC-Pagadian City, MSU-Marawi City, and PILGRIM COLLEGE-Cagayan de Oro City, the tournament promised intense competition.\n\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\tJHCSC Green Hornets displayed dominance from the onset, showcasing precision passes, relentless defense, and sharpshooting. Under the guidance of Coaching President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales and Assistant Coaches Jubie De Paz and Prof. Ruel S. Lasagas, they showcased their commitment to excellence. Their cohesive strategy and unwavering determination propelled them to a decisive victory, clinching the win with a final score of 93-64. As the final buzzer sounded, the gymnasium erupted into cheers and applause, celebrating JHCSC Hornets’ triumphant start to the tournament.\n\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\tThere’s growing excitement for the next matches as the tournament progresses, promising more thrilling displays of skill and determination from all participating teams. JHCSC Green Hornets’ journey toward championship glory is underway, with each game offering new challenges and opportunities for greatness on the court.\n\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\tMeanwhile, the JHCSC administration is very thankful to San Miguel town Municipal Mayor Hon. Ex Ocapan and CoConCafe’ for sponsoring JHCSC Green Hornets Varsity team’s complete set of uniforms. Likewise, to JHCSC Multi-Purpose Cooperative for the continuous financial support for the team’s food allowance.\n\t\t<\/div>\n
