Faculty members and researchers from higher education institutions (HEIs) across the Philippines joined the Training on Scientific Writing and Presentation for HEIs (SciWriting4HEIs), 6-10 November 2023. The 25 participants engaged in lecture-workshops on journal article planning and submission, abstract writing, visualization, and a mini-conference for a mock presentation of their respective scientific studies.<\/p>\n
The training is under the Leveling-Up Philippine HEIs in Agriculture, Fisheries, and Natural Resources (LevelUPHEI AFAR) project of #SEARCA funded by the Philippine Commission on Higher Education(CHED). The 25 participants came from 13 member universities of the State Universities and Colleges-Association of Colleges of Agriculture in the Philippines, Inc. (SUC-ACAP).<\/p>\n
SEARCA\u2019s Education and Collective Learning Department-Training for Development Unit (ECLD-T4DU) implemented the training in collaboration with experts from the University of the Philippines Los Ba\u00f1os – College of Development Communication (UPLB Devcom).<\/p>\n
