J.H. Cerilles State College\u2019s Researcher Dr. Jerry B. Superales joins the Interdisciplinary Studies Center for Integrated Natural Resources and Environment Management of the University of the Philippines Los Ba\u00f1os (UPLB) in their second international conference held on 20-21 November 2019 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City.
\nWith the theme \u201cStrengthening local governance for sustainable integrated natural resources and environment management\u201d the conference was participated by representatives from the Local Government Units, Academicians from various State Colleges and Universities, officials from the DENR, International and Local Environment sector Consultants, Peoples\u2019 Organizations, and concerned institutions and agencies.
\nOut of 50 studies from the academes all over the country, Dr. Superales\u2019 paper titled\u201d Vulnerability Assessment on the Coastal Residents and Coral Reef of Vincenzo Sagun in the Province of Zamboanga del Sur\u201d was chosen to be presented in the said forum.
\nDr. Superales is a Ph.D. degree holder in Environmental Science major in Environmental Protection and Management with Forest and Biological Sciences as Cognate at the University of the Philippines Los Ba\u00f1os (UPLB)- Graduate School, Alumnus of Batch 2007.
\nThe conference served as an avenue for different groups and academic institutions to share and present the results of different environmental papers or studies through plenary and parallel sessions. In line with the objective of the conference is to facilitate the sharing of ideas and experiences on local governance of natural resources and environmental management among stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific Region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
