A new chapter in public service and education began for 18 newly hired faculty members of J.H. Cerilles State College as they formally took their oath of office on March 2, 2026.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The oath-taking ceremony, organized by the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), gathered college officials and personnel in a solemn yet hopeful event welcoming the institution\u2019s first batch of newly appointed instructors. The oath-taking proper was administered by College President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, who officially inducted the faculty members into service.\n<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

In his message, Dr. Rosales reminded the new educators that teaching in a state college carries a responsibility beyond classroom instruction. He emphasized that teachers serve as mentors, role models, and nation-builders who influence not only the academic growth of students but also their character and values.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Following the ceremony, an onboarding orientation was conducted to prepare the newly hired faculty members for their roles in the institution. During the session, faculty professionalism and continuous development were discussed, emphasizing ethical conduct, accountability, and commitment to public service.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Teaching and learning enhancement aligned with Commission on Higher Education (CHED) standards was also presented by Dr. Starrclyde Sebial, STE Dean; Prof. Carlo Rule, Associate Professor; and Ms. Febe Keith Jumoc, Curriculum and Instruction Officer and faculty member. The discussions introduced academic policies, instructional expectations, and quality standards to guide the new instructors in classroom delivery and student engagement.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The ceremony symbolized more than employment; it represented a commitment to public service. Each faculty member pledged to uphold professionalism, academic integrity, and dedication to student development.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The activity also reflected the college\u2019s continuing effort to strengthen its academic workforce and improve the delivery of quality education. For the new instructors, the oath marked the beginning of their journey as educators entrusted with shaping future professionals and leaders.<\/div>\n

As the program concluded, the newly hired faculty members formally joined the academic community of JHCSC, carrying with them both the honor and responsibility of teaching in public higher education.<\/div>\n
