The application is funded by the Department of Agriculture \u2013 Bureau of Agricultural Research in collaboration with the Bureau of Soils and Water Management. Derived from the Subanen term \u201cPHARIAN,\u201d locally known as \u201cTaboan\u201d in Bisaya, the platform serves as a modern-day marketplace, empowering farmers with accessible digital marketing tools and strengthening the local agri-economy.<\/div>\n

Through ePharian, farmers can post and sell their agricultural products online, upload images, and provide complete product details to reach a wider audience. The app supports pre-marketing, allowing farmers to secure buyers even before harvest and plan their income more efficiently. Buyers can conveniently scan, search, and browse available products, compare prices, check product details, and directly communicate with farmers using the provided contact details\u2014making selling and buying easier, fairer, and more accessible to all.<\/div>\n

By using ePharian, communities help eliminate unnecessary middlemen, promote fair pricing, and uplift the hardworking individuals who bring food to every table. The platform also supports local government units and stakeholders in monitoring production and supply while fostering stronger partnerships within the agricultural sector.<\/div>\n
