The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) President, Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, conducted a series of campus visitations for School Year 2026, covering the Canuto M.S. Enerio Campus, Dumingag Campus, and Pagadian Campus on January 8, 2026. The visitations aimed to discuss the institution\u2019s future vision, address concerns, and reinforce policies and systems in Research, Instruction, and Extension.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Campus directors highlighted their achievements during the visits. Lakewood Campus Director Prof. Bobby S. Piscos emphasized their \u201cless is more\u201d approach, achieving 100 percent COPC compliance despite a limited workforce. At the same time, Dumingag Campus Director Dr. Moises Glenn Tangalin underscored their distinction as the first campus to achieve full compliance. President Rosales described Pagadian Campus as a \u201crising star\u201d due to its recent accomplishments.\n<\/div>\n

Campus Director Dr. Patricia D. Bahian expressed gratitude for the president\u2019s visit, noting the ongoing challenges and the need for classrooms that are conducive to learning. She highlighted infrastructure developments and shared her vision of Pagadian as a growing \u201cshow window\u201d of JHCSC, encouraging unity and optimism with the phrase \u201cAgakanay tang tanan.\u201d<\/div>\n

President Rosales expressed optimism for future income-generating projects, including a smart gate and facility rentals, and provided updates on ZDSSU\u2019s progress toward universityhood. He commended the efforts of the JHCSC workforce, encouraged \u201cleveling up\u201d in accreditation, and addressed faculty challenges in research production. He also reiterated the goal of becoming a research-oriented university while maintaining excellence in its professional programs. <\/div>\n

The visitation fostered a renewed sense of responsibility, strengthened collaboration, and reinforced the shared commitment among administrators, faculty, and staff as JHCSC continues to advance its academic and institutional objectives.<\/div>\n
