The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) has released its Technical Review and Board Action report, confirming that the Bachelor of Science in Forestry (BSF)<\/b> Program at J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Main Campus has successfully passed its recent accreditation survey, earning a Level I Accredited<\/b> status. Furthermore, the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program (BSIT)<\/b> at Canuto MS Enerio Campus in Lakewood has been re-accredited at Level II.<\/b><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The survey visit, conducted from August 25 to 29, 2025,<\/b> saw the AACCUP Visiting Team assess key areas of the implementation for both programs. The BSF Main Program (1st Survey) obtained a “Satisfactory”<\/b> descriptive rating, while the BSIT CMSE-Lakewood Program (2nd Survey – Revisit all Areas) earned a rating of “Very Satisfactory,”<\/b> affirming the programs\u2019 commitment to quality education and continuous improvement in line with national accreditation standards.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

This accomplishment was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Quality Assurance (QA) Office,<\/b> led by Ms. Joie Mercybelle Capitanea, and the JHCSC Accreditation Taskforce,<\/b> which includes the BSF Main Program Team under SAFES Dean Dr. Emelyn D. Tormes and BSF Program Chair For. Nomar Ramonsito, and the BSIT CMSE-Lakewood Team under SoCS Dean Prof. Elsie Yba\u00f1ez, with support from Campus Director Prof. Bobby Piscos and BSIT Program Chair Mr. Jordan Saladaga.<\/div>\n

Under the leadership of JHCSC President Dr. Edgardo H. Rosales, the administration continues to prioritize accreditation as a key institutional goal. This achievement marks another milestone for the College as it further strengthens academic excellence and enhances program quality across Campuses.<\/div>\n
