The School of Teacher Education (STE), led by Dean Dr. Starr Clyde L. Sebial, conducted its internship deployment orientation and pinning ceremony for the pre-service teachers of Class 2025-2026 on November 24, 2025, at the JHCSC Main Campus Gymnasium. The activity was held in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Zamboanga del Sur under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ma. Judelyn J. Ramos, CESO VI, marking another collaborative effort between the institution and its cooperating schools.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Carrying the theme \u201cEmpowered to Lead, Equipped to Serve: The Journey of Future-Ready Educators,\u201d the ceremony gathered key school officials, including Main Campus Director Dr. Trinidad C. Abapo, Curriculum and Instruction Director Ms. Febe Keith Jumoc, and Campus-wide Sports Director Dr. Buena D. Calunsag. Program chairs, representatives from partner schools, and students from BSED English, BSED Science, BEED Block A, BEED Block B, BSED Filipino, and BSED Math also attended the event.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The program opened with the deployment orientation, which provided pre-service teachers with essential guidelines, expectations, and professional reminders as they prepare to enter their assigned classrooms for their internship. One of the highlights of the ceremony was the symbolic pinning, which represented the formal acceptance of their new role as future educators and their commitment to upholding professionalism throughout their practicum.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The activity served as a testament to STE\u2019s dedication to preparing competent and future-ready educators through strong institutional partnerships and guided field exposure. It also reaffirmed the college\u2019s mission to equip JHCSCian pre-service teachers with the skills, values, and confidence needed as they begin their internship journey.<\/div>\n
