The J.H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) conducted a Blood-Letting Activity under the Mobile Blood Donation Program on October 16, 2025, at the JHCSC Infirmary Building. The event was spearheaded by the Margosatubig Regional Hospital (MRH) \u2013 Blood Bank Department with the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of San Miguel, led by Pathologist Dr. Warfe C. Navasquez, MD, DPSP, and organized by Dr. Joanne Happy C. Hajirul, College Nurse. The activity was carried out with the support of Vice President for Research, Extension, and Resource Generation (VPRERG) Dr. Jerry B. Superales and Campus Director Dr. Trinidad C. Abapo, who also participated in the event.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The blood donation drive was made possible through the collaboration of JHCSC\u2019s infirmary staff, the medical teams from Margosatubig Regional Hospital and the RHU of San Miguel, comprising physicians, pathologists, and skilled healthcare personnel, along with Dr. RJ Clarke Saavedra II. Faculty members, employees, and students actively participated in the activity, demonstrating their commitment to public health and community welfare through the selfless act of giving blood.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

This meaningful initiative aimed to promote voluntary blood donation and health awareness within the JHCSC community. It also sought to strengthen the regional blood supply system in meeting the growing demand for safe and sufficient blood reserves. Moreover, donors benefited from preliminary blood screening procedures, which provided them with valuable health insights and early detection of possible medical conditions.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Through this humanitarian endeavor, JHCSC reaffirmed its dedication to fostering compassion, social responsibility, and community service. The success of the blood-letting activity reflected the college\u2019s steadfast commitment to cultivating a culture of care and volunteerism, embodying its vision of transforming lives not only through education but also through meaningful public service.<\/div>\n
