The acronym J FORCE stands for JHCSC Federated Organization of Recognized Clubs for Excellence. All recognized clubs of the 26 campuses and ESUs are automatically members of this organization provided that each organization submits its set of officers and its constitution and bylaws to the Director of Student Affairs, Mrs. Nimshe M. Pastrano of the Main Campus. Around 3,000 student scholars throughout the system are the members of J SAFETY which means JHCSC Scholars’ Association for Exceptional and Talented Youth.
The other two programs form part of the College’ TABANG Extension Programs which target the youth and the fire victims in Pagadian City as beneficiaries. JHCSC CARES is a concept inspired by the popular NBA CARES of the National Basketball Association in America. The local version whose acronym means JHCSC Constructive Approach of Reaching out Extension Services through Sports Clinic will be spearheaded by the different sports organizations in the College.
The Basketball, Volleyball and SepakTakraw Varsities will mobilize in different local communities by holding regular sports clinic activities. JHCSC CARES is a program that responds to the call of Hon. Antonio H. Cerilles, governor of Zamboangadel Sur to combat drug addiction among the youth. The College also organized the JHCSC OPLAN TABANG SAN PEDRO to help the fire victims in Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City. All JHCSC campuses and ESUs are enjoined to extend their help in cash or in kind which will be distributed to the victims in the coming Foundation Day Celebration in August.
